Ética e profissão:desafios e inspirações para o educador contemporâneo

Resumo

O artigo discute a questão da ética profissional na atualidade. Procura-se mostrar como a racionalidade científica, as tecnologias e a relação com o trabalho contemporâneo colocam importantes desafios para o educador. Considera-se, aqui, o problema da formação ética e a proposta mundial de uma nova política da vida. Distingue-se também o conceito de “ética”, constituído de dois aspectos: o conjunto de regras instituídas pela família, pela escola, pela religião e pelo trabalho e a conduta real dos indivíduos em relação a essas regras.

Ethics and profession: comtemporary educator´s challenges

Abstract

The article argues the question of the professional ethics in the present time. It tries to demonstrate how the scientific rationality, Technologies and the relation with the contemporary work challenge the educator. It is considered, here, the problem of the ethical formation and the world-wide proposal of a new politics of life. It also distinguishes the concept of “ethics”, constituted of two aspects: a joint of rules instituted by the family, by the school, by religion, by the work and the real behavior of the individuals in relation to those rules.
