Proteção social de crianças e adolescentes: um olhar através da observação participante

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the possible contributions of a Social Protection program, regarding social insertion and violence prevention, for children and adolescents in situations of social vulnerability in the Vale dos Sinos region. It has an exploratory-descriptive design and qualitative methodology. It was concluded that the program presents possible contributions while an environment that gives voice to the subject, guarantees it’s a social and cultural expression, allows the acquisition of skills in a pleasurable way, self-confidence, and social belonging.
