Abstract

The benefits of process standardization are widely known by companies that aim to achieve operational excellence. In this scenario, new management models in digital scope offer innovative tools capable of assisting leaders and teams in planning, monitoring and controlling their projects. Given this reality, the research aims to improve and make effective the use of the task management tool Asana in a company specialized in project management. Such research has an exploratory character, to which a structured questionnaire was applied to collect data in a case study format and has a quantitative nature. The responses to the questionnaire showed users’ understanding of the tool’s effectiveness and the impact it has on project results, as well as the understanding that it is a strategic disadvantage that there is no standardization for using Asana. After analyzing the results, a systematization model was proposed to standardize the sprints planning method.
