This work intends to carry out the presentation and analysis of photographic images belonging to the Press Office of the State of Rio Grande do Sul. These photos refers to events arising from the Legality Campaign, launched in 1961. It brings a vast potential of visual content for the semantic interpretation of the past and on the visual culture produced by the government. The photographs are characterized by a significant aesthetic expression and visual langage.
