Abstract

Today, to recollect orally report of lived experiences seems to have been replaced by images. Would the memory be virtualizing? In this article, we intend to go beyond a memory, language and imagination categorization. The aim of this study is to make explicit the underlying relationships with them to achieve their hermeneutic sense. What do memory, language and imagination have in common in their own nature? Which are the consequences for individual identity the constitution and its existence? The investigation comes within the philosophy field in its hermeneutic extension. The methodology used here is the interpretation. The research results are: (a) memory, for the image process  mostly caused by the media, is in the process of virtualization; (b) memory and imagination are language forms; (c) In the picture, is the reflexive element and meaning generator of language, memory and imagination; (d) the virtual sets as a privileged way of constituting the subjectivity.
