Migration is also the transition of type from one gender system to another. To the extent that certain rights can be guaranteed in France and not in the country of origin, migrating to that country may seem advantageous for women. But how can this transition occur for migrants? As the obstacles created by migration affect access to women's rights in France? This article illustrates the plural character of the migratory process that emerges from the relationship with the rights of migrants. The ambivalences of access to rights are, for them, an issue inseparable from the migratory project.
