Heritage: the garbage

Through an urban path, identify objects and landscapes that could be perceived as an asset linked to social memory. Being a product of human activities, the garbage is to be named cultural heritage that will be inherited by future generations. In this way the concept of heritage, dispelling the idea, inherited from the French Revolution, with origins in Classical Greece, that heritage is linked to the concept of beauty, symmetrical, perfect and in which it attaches some value. Fruit of the cultural and daily action, the garbage, understood as equity, is part of the landscape, changing our conception of cultural and environmental assets. It concludes that the garbage can be understood as a monument, unintended works that transform the landscape and tell the everyday life history of the society that produced it.
