“Itapuã” Colony Hospital: a cultural herytage in exhibition

This article is intended to address 06 (six) exhibitions held in the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre – RS that explored the Itapuã Colony Hospital (HCI) trajectory, about the theme of their narratives. The importance of the museological space, characterized by the framework of the exhibitions, as a source of information and possible trigger of interest about a theme, and can mobilize the recovery and the need to preserve the legitimacy history of a place. A heritage of HCI can be represented in an exhibition both in a material perspective, taking into account the physical and architectural part of the institution, as immaterial, characterized by the memories and stories of life there developed. Therefore, in this work to understand how these initiatives have been and are drawn up.Downloads
