Abstract

There is a range of relevant federal preservation projects, actions and programs in the history of preservation of Brazilian heritage, since they provide greater visibility, mainly because they are requalification policies, in the search for improvements in economic, cultural and social conditions. This article sought to describe the activities of federal programs for the preservation of historical heritage in Pelotas/RS, namely: the Monumenta Program and the PAC Historic Cities. Both acted in the preservation and restoration of public and private properties, in the elaboration of projects and actions aimed at the preservation of the historical and cultural heritage.

Dary Pretto Neto, Universidade Federal de Pelotas

Possuo graduação em Ciências Econômicas com ênfase em Comércio Exterior pela Universidade Católica de Pelotas (2000) , mestrado em Economia pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2003), Doutorando em Memória Social e Patrimônio Cultural na Universidade Federal de Pelotas . Professor da Faculdade de Administração e de Turismo , do Departamento de Administração, na Universidade Federal de Pelotas. Tenho experiência na área de Macroeconomia, atuando principalmente em Finanças Públicas e Patrimônio.

Juliane Conceição Primon Serres, Universidade Federal de Pelotas

Possui graduação em Licenciatura em História pela Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (2001), mestrado em Museologia - Universidad de Granada - Espanha (2010), mestrado em História pela Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (2004) e doutorado em História pela Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (2009). É professora na Universidade Federal de Pelotas - Curso de Museologia e do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Memória Social e Patrimônio Cultural e Coordenador do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Memória Social e Patrimônio Cultural. Tem experiência na área de Museologia e História. Pesquisa principalmente no seguintes temas: história da saúde pública, museus e patrimônio, patrimonialização e sofrimento.
