Microhistory and Kitsch: possibilities for analysis

this paper aims to demonstrate the possibilities of studies from a new perspective. Addressing the historiographic method of Italian microhistory and the use of Kitsch architecture in the specific context of Italian immigration in Rio Grande do Sul. We intend to approach how the detailed study of several historiographic aspects provided by a detailed look can have a complex amplitude, since new perceptions about immigration in the state to the importance of Kitsch replicas for understanding a particular reconstruction of a supposed Italian identity.
