This article intends to analyze the problem of memory usage in its way of manifestation in museums, starting from its individual state and reaching at its collective state. The museum, as evocating the past, operates as an instrument of representation of the legitimacy and public action of collective identity. This discussion will be based in the contemporary world, where more and more the museum is being discussed as a phenomenon of memory fragmentation.Downloads
