Abstract

This article reports on the elaboration of a restoration project proposing the refunctionalization of a house built in the first decades of the 20th century, with a typology of leftovers. The building is part of the architectural complex of three semi-in-storey houses, located next to Travessa Quintino Bocaiuva under no. 1423, located between Largo do Redondo, on Av. Nazareth and Av. Governor José Malcher, in Belém do Pará. It is, therefore, a property with historical characteristics, classified as of interest to preservation and legally protected by being part of the surroundings of assets listed by the State and Municipality. Thus, after the introduction, the work is developed in four stages: the first stage refers to the recognition of the intervention area; the second stage refers to identification and knowledge of the building; the third stage refers to the typological analysis of the building; and the fourth stage refers to the proposal of intervention and refunctionalization project.
