ANÁLISE DO RISCO DE DANOS AO CLIMA/AR NO ENTORNO DO CÓRR EGO MI NGAU, BAIRRO PARQUE AMAZÔNIA, EM GOI ÂNIA-GO.

Resumo

O presente trabalho visou a avaliar o risco que a ocupação antrópica representa em relação ao clima/ar na cidade de Goiânia, Goiás, a partir de um estudo de caso realizado no bairro Parque Amazônia, em uma área que abrange o córrego Mingau e seu entorno. Com base nos riscos ecológicos identificados nessa área, utilizou-se o método Análise do Risco Ecológico (Faria, 1996), que possibilita ao planejador avaliar as inter-relações entre os usos existentes/planejados e os fatores naturais que caracterizam um determinado espaço. A avaliação de risco ao clima/ar aplicada no entorno do córrego Mingau veio comprovar as alterações da qualidade dos fatores ambientais provocadas pela urbanização, bem como quantificar a sua deterioração diretamente relacionada aos prejuízos à qualidade de vida da população urbana. Este estudo evidenciou a utilidade da execução e a implementação de planos diretores que efetivamente levem em consideração as características naturais do meio ambiente (resistência e resiliência), obedecendo a parâmetros de planejamento urbano baseados em fatores de sustentabilidade ambiental, econômicos e sociais. Para isso, propôs-se que as propriedades ribeirinhas sejam maiores em termos de área, diminuindo a retirada da vegetação natural, a alteração das vazões de água disponíveis e a ocupação e impermeabilização do solo em APP’s. É necessário que haja a conscientização da população dos reais benefícios da preservação e da utilização dos fatores ambientais.

ABSTRACT

Analysis of the risk of injury to climate/air around the Mingau stream, in Parque Amazonia neighborhood in Goiania-GO. This article focused on the analysis of the risks the human occupation might cause to the climate/air in Goiânia, Goiás. The studies were conducted around the area drained by Mingau stream in Parque Amazônia neighborhood. Based on the ecological risks identified in the area, the Analysis of the Ecological Risk (Faria, 1996) was used to enable the planner to evaluate the interrelation between the existing/planned usage and the natural factors that characterize a specific space. The assessment of the risks to the climate/air that were applied in the vicinity of the Mingau stream demonstrated changes in the quality of environmental factors caused by urbanization, as well as quantified their harm directly related to damages in the life quality of the urban population. This study evidenced the usefulness of the execution and implementation of máster plans that effectively take into account the natural characteristics of the environment (resistance and resilience), following parameters of urban planning based on factors of environmental sustainability, economic and social. In order to serve its purpose, it was proposed larger properties along the rivers to reduce the removal of natural vegetation, the change of the flow of the water available, the occupation and the soil sealing in APP’s. What is needed is public awareness of the real benefits of preservation and use of the environmental factors.
