Predation on Leptodactylus latrans (Anura, Leptodactylidae) by Guira guira (Birds, Cuculidae) in southern Brazil

Abstract

Herein, we report predation of a juvenile Leptodactylus latrans by Guira guira, in an urban area of the Formigueiro municipality, Central Region in the State of Rio Grande do Sul. This observation contributes to additional information about the behavior in feeding habits of the Cuculidae birds family.
