The invasive spotted-wing Drosphila, Drosophila suzukii (Diptera, Drosophilidae) is considered a pest of fruit production potential to cause severe damage, impacting a wide variety of fruits. This fly probably originating from Japan, endemic to Southeast Asia, shows serious potential of invasion and has been recorded in Europe and America. In 2013, for the first time, this invasive species was recorded in South America, specifically in southern Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina states). This work extends species invaded areas in South America, detecting population in Paraná state. Also, the hosts Eriobotrya japonica (Thunb.) (Rosaceae) and Eugenia uniflora L (Myrtaceae) were registered for the fisrt time.Downloads
