Abstract

This study reports a leucism case on Cardinal Paroaria coronata (Miller, 1776) (Passeriformes: Thraupidae) in municipality of São Sepé, Central Region of Rio Grande do Sul state, Brazil. The specimen had depigmentediris, feathers, beak andtarsi, while bright-red tuft like to original color of the species.
