Abstract

The research focuses on the analysis of the educational feature of museums. The cut proposed is 1958, the year in which the UNESCO Regional Seminar titled Educational Role of Museums occurred. A intense production of museum education was published and  the research of Brazilian graduates by Course Museums becomes essential to establish an overview of proposals and perspectives on the topic in the mid-twentieth century, many of them presents in the field of contemporary debates.
