This paper discusses the novel "A Mulher Afortunada" by Donaldo Schüler, written 30 years ago, under the viewpoints of Literature, Cultural History and Analytical Psychology. In presenting the literary plot, we reveal details of the sensitivities of a woman who, in her own time and in her own way, questions her life, her marriage and her surroundings, recording the search of herself in an intimate writing.
