Career anchors for administration students: a study in Rio de Janeiro IES

The present study aimed to examine the career anchors of the young of semesters start and end of the course in Business Administration from Universidade Federal Fluminense. The research included 117 students at the beginning and end of the course chosen so that they could identify differences showed influence of external variables in decisions regarding the management of young people in their careers. We selected two periods of early academic instruction and two periods of completion, already in the labor market experiences and their impressions of it. The results showed that regardless of being more advanced in academic life and started professional life, students had the same anchors that those who begin college. Analyzed together with the reason they chose the course met contradiction between the results, pointing to the need to review the training course and / or revision of the instrument of career anchors adapting it for today and the Brazilian context.References
