Environmental perception of students about the use of plastic bags

The objective of this article is to analyze the perception of future administrators (students) about the plastic bags considering the environmental issue. This work has as theoretical contextualization the problem of plastic bags in relation to the environment. The methodology is characterized as an exploratory and descriptive research, with a qualitative approach, using the focal group technique. The data were treated by content analysis.In the face of the analysis of the data, the environmental conscience was not evidenced. There was evidence of knowledge about the implications of plastic bags, as well as perceptions that the university promoted discussions about the subject in favor of behavior change. Despite the group have a level of knowledge, it was not noticed skills and attitudes to mitigate the plastic bags problems.
