Medical Institute of Ophthalmology (IMO): feasibility for hospital opening

This technical report aims to study the feasibility of the construction and opening plan of the Medical Institute of Ophthalmology (IMO1) in the city of Goiânia. IMO1 consists of a hospital project specialized in ophthalmology. This hospital had its project initiated and approved by the Goianian prefecture and its works began in early 2014. Its implementation and return on investment were based on theories and concepts of business administration, involving the areas of marketing, market strategy and finance. It was used a methodology with main focus in the analysis of secondary data on sector, competition, customers, population and demography of the city. Was checked the feasibility measure of the investment, if there was value generation for its partners and to investigate a set of actions that can support the partners of IMO1 in any future decision.Downloads
