Abstract

The main of the research was to identify the organizational characteristics and the form of management of a children's orchestra project. The theoretical framework concentrates on the creative economy and social entrepreneurship. The object of investigation was the NEOJIBA Program (Bahia) and held an exploratory, descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The research was divided into three steps: (i) documentary; (E) observation; and (iii) interviews. The analysis of data was performed using textual analysis, protocol analysis and registration, content analysis, and triangulation data. The main evidence of project management is associated with concern about the size ratio that the program is reaching. Regarding the main factors of success, the interviewees evidenced the role of Maestro and Regent Ricardo Castro and their network of relationships. Also highlighted was the concern with excellence, with the brand NEOJIBA.
