This paper aimed to identify and compare the explain factors to the choice of the students and workers by the Conscious Ecological Consumption Behave (CCEC). The methodology was quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional, with primary data obtained through the application of questionnaires with questions structured on a Likert scale. The sample had 505 respondents from all Brazilian regions, of whom 268 were students and 234 workers. The results indicated as factors that explain students’ choice of consumption: recycling and reuse, action and change, and the product; and those that explain the workers’ choice were action and change, product and household habits. Among those factors that explain the consumption choices of the students and of the workers were action and change, and the product. As 2/3 of the factors that explaining students’ consumption also explain the worker consumption, it could be possible to admit that the 1/3 that explains one or the other is due to the difference of the purchasing power and/or the age.Downloads
