The path to digital reconfiguration in brazilian music industry

Market configurations are mutants and guided by many actors in pursuit of their objectives. It happens in the creative industries. This article is a theoretical review in which is traced a landscape of the brazilian phonographic industry and the multiple innovative actions and strategies that impacted the operations in the market. Discussion has three parts. The first one shows brazilian phonographic industry characteristics in the last century. In a second moment, changes derived from the technological innovations are demonstrated and points to a digitalization of production and consumption. The last part presents new forms of operation found in the new century in Brazil.
