Abstract

This article aims to propose guidelines for the regionalized formation of Administration teaching in the Brazilian Northeast. The article is the result of an empirical research carried out with professors who worked in the creation of Administration courses at Public Universities. Thus, the context of teaching Administration in the Northeast is discussed, with emphasis on regional issues that impact on the quality of administrator education. The contextual guidelines proposed for a regionalized training of Business Administration students delimit possible paths and alternatives that help agents involved in establishing public policies for higher education, as well as managers and professors who work in Business Administration courses in the region to rethink the training process in line with the regional context. Finally, the work raises a greater breadth of debate around the theme of qualified training for administrators in regional contexts.
