This article aims to identify whether organizational performance is positively associated with project management, ability with business processes, board commitment and people's receptivity to change. For that, a quantitative, descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out, using a questionnaire that was applied to 401 managers of public and private organizations. The results indicate that the variables ability with business processes, management commitment and people's receptiveness to change are directly and positively associated with organizational performance. However, project management is not associated with organizational performance. This research contributes to the literature by approaching unusual variables in the analysis of organizational performance. In empirical terms, it provides companies with actions focused on results. It also offers new opportunities for improvement to organizations that already work with performance management, being able to enhance their performance with actions in areas that are still little explored.References
