The Cities Sustainable Development Index (IDSC) tracks the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in member countries of the United Nations. In this context, this study analyzes the weights of the SDGs to determine the ranking of Brazilian capitals and regions through Informational Entropy. This is a quantitative survey with a sample of 27 capitals, with data from 2019 and obtained from IDSC. The results indicate that SDG 15 (Terrestrial life) was the objective with the greatest weight and informational relevance (54.54%). On the other hand, SDG 7 (clean and affordable energy) was the indicator with the lowest weight (0.01%). As for the capitals, Manaus (70.94), Palmas (54.77) and São Paulo (50.94) stand out with the highest performances regarding the implementation of the SDGs, while Teresina (16.67), Macapá (15.12 ) and São Luís (13.76) have the lowest values. Regarding the regions, the South had the best average score (43.13) and the Midwest had the lowest average performance (24.98). The study contributes by presenting guidelines on support for multicriteria decision-making in SDGs, which can serve as a basis for the development of governance projects in these cities.References
