Focus and Scope

Health and Human Development (ISSN 2317-8582) is a specialized journal that publishes national and international scientific research on disease processes and health education in various socio-environmental contexts. It delves into risk factors (physical, chemical, biological, and behavioral) and their prevention processes. The focus on technology and innovation in healthcare is encouraged. Articles with a social focus or any other focus not related to the maintenance of physical or mental health or disease processes will not be considered. Articles in the following areas will be considered: Pharmacoepidemiology; Preventive Physiotherapy; Disease-related Physiotherapy Rehabilitation; Clinical Care and Health; Clinical Biochemistry; Clinical Immunology; Diet and Interventions and their role in health; Physical Exercise and Health; Toxicity and Genotoxicity affecting occupational and population health; Mental Health related to pathologies; Psychology: Prevention and promotion of mental health; Methodological Technology and Innovation in health.
