The Construction of Materials and the use of Alternative Spaces for the Teaching of Athletics

Abstract

The present study expresses pedagogical possibilities involving construction and utilization of alternative materials in athletics classes at school. It is understood by alternative material any teaching tool that can be built and / or used within the class. It is a descriptive research with a phenomenological basis about the construction and utilization of materials used in Physical Education involving Athletics’s content. The study allowed to develop pedagogical educational opportunities , contributing for the physical education teachers formation and acting of in order to demystify the limitations imposed on athletics in schools, in the of lack of material’s issue and deemed appropriate infrastructure.
