Team development program from the perspective of permanent education in health: experience report

Objective: this report to share an experience of an educational action carried out with a leadership team of a support area (not health care) of a public university hospital in the light of Permanent Health Education (PHE). The experience was to facilitate the development program the focus team, which had as its original guides: to promote a safe space to facilitate the development of the leaders of the area as an integrated team, facilitate dialogue and reflection of the participants about their relationships and interactions and strengthen the positive points of leaders’ team to their effective use in the alignment of the team’s actions.
Methods: it is an experience report conducted from the business partner of a public university hospital.
Analysis of the experiment and final considerations: the PHE brought exciting and inspiring contributions of appreciation of the experience, potential and emphasis of the role of each person as an author of new knowledge, new possibilities. In addition, the reported practice indicates the importance of involving all stakeholders in the process of education and learning in health. Further, the analysis of the experience points to possibilities for improvement in future programs.
