Diseases and situations of vulnerability of women in the rural context: an integrative review

Objective: identify the most prevalent diseases and situations of vulnerability with the greatest impact on women’s health in the rural context.
Method: This is an integrative review, which selected 32 publications from SciELO, LILACS and PubMed platforms, from May to June 2018.
Results and Discussion: of the selected articles 71.86% are foreign articles. Most articles have their publication concentrated in the years 2016, 2014 and 2015, totaling 59.37%, more than half of the selected works.
Conclusion: Although the differences in the rural context, many of the diseases are experienced by women in urban areas, but accessibility and low schooling have great differences between urban / rural women, which adds to the importance in developing strategies to improve conditions life of rural women.
