Material and Methods: This is a crosssectional, retrospective study, with users who attended the dental service of EC. A structured questionnaire was applied on socioeconomic variables, humanization, autonomy, access, referral and satisfaction about dental care in EC. Descriptive data were analyzed using the EpiInfo Program.
Results: The main reason for seeking EC was pain (37.8%), being chosen mainly for the free service (43.4%). All patients mentioned that the dentists listened carefully, had a good relationship and trust in their work. Most patients changed their behavior regarding healthy habits to their health, increasing autonomy and their responsibility with maintaining oral health. Most patients have satisfactorily evaluated EC in terms of human resources, structure and cleanliness. All of them rated dental care as very good / good, considering that the dentist did a good job and would recommend EC.
Conclusion: It is concluded that this pioneering experience is being positive, qualifying dental care in relation to humanization, increasing patient autonomy and user satisfaction with the service provided.
