Based on the theoretical contributions of Material Culture, this article explores various idiomatic definitions for terms thing, object, subject and document. Proposes semiotics approach as a way of interpretation of the between subjects and objects of cultural heritage in perspective. From this analysis, strengthens the methodology of heritage education, the stages are on the observation, registration, operation and ownership of cultural goods.Downloads
