Furthermore, studies on the acceptance of this technology are scarce, so this study researches the acceptance of contactless mobile payment systems using NFC technology. Scientific literature justifies a behavioral model based on Davis' TAM, which determines the intention to use a particular technology from a set of constructs based on user perception of four technology-related factors and two social characteristics of the individuals surveyed. Our purpose is define a model that allows a model the behavior of users to the NFC technology and how it can help the effectiveness of marketing activities. The results indicate that perceived compatibility and subjective norms are the determining factors in the intended use of contactless mobile payment technology. Finally, this study offers a set of recommendations to companies interested in faster diffusion of NFC technology.Downloads
