Collaborative and reflective teaching are key concepts in training foreign language teachers and are well placed in the competency-based approach under the European Higher Education Area. This proposal deals with the implementation of teacher training practices getting pre-service teachers involved in the reflection on their own practice and trying to contribute to the improvement of their professional competence through the assignment of different roles in the classroom. Therefore, it is also our aim to establish links between reflective teaching and professional competence outlining conceptual aspects and the latest contributions, as well as a short discussion on collected data from our experience and some final thoughts.Downloads
