The development of Chronic Noncommunicable Diseases (NCD) has been cause for concern with regard to public policies for health in Brazil and worldwide. The publications on the subject in this age group are scarce and the literature review broadens the knowledge in the area. Considering these are the future elderly, and being aware of the current state of your health, it is possible to predict the long term development of CVD's. In conclusion, this age group has a level of susceptibility to CVD, and there is the need for investment in public policies programs focused on the orientation and health care in order to prevent and protect against CVD, as well as work qualification in health team.
