Vivencia-se, desde o final do século XX, a transição de um modelo de Estado mínimo, de cunho liberal, para a efetivação de um Estado democrático e social de direito. Diante do cenário das crises do Estado contemporâneo, o presente Artigo objetiva reflexionar sobre os modos de superação às barreiras paradigmáticas da emancipação das subjetividades humanas e da construção do bem estar comum, desmistificando, em última análise, os desenhos disciplinares e, consequentemente, desvelando as faces do protagonismo curricular em suas nuances de aderência epistemológica e pedagógica a partir dos significados aparentes e ocultos do que, como e para que ensinar.
