This article aims to discuss abortion in a feminist perspective. The theme is initially discussed through some illustrations (literary works, stories and movies) that feature various political, subjective and cultural nuances relevant to compose dialogues and analysis. The reading that here is presented situates the social understanding of abortion as a denial of the place of women (mother and caregiver) in a kinship system compromised with macho, sexist and religious values.Downloads
