Abstract

Educational institutions of Marista Province/RS improve their results of sustainability and competitiveness mainly innovating in its management model. However, the amount of religious with a vocation for management is smaller than the growth rate and the professionalization of its network, so the company increasingly requires lay executives. Thus, the article aims to identify leadership skills needed in the institution’s executives to handle the challenges ahead.

Patrícia Martins Fagundes Cabral, Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos - Unisinos

Doutora em Psicologia, com tese sobre Liderança e Processo Grupal (PUCRS, 2008) Mestre em Administração de Empresas (PUC-Rio, 1999) e graduada em Psicologia (Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos, 1993) . Professora adjunta da Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos, vinculada ao PPG em Gestão e Negócios. Coordenadora, na unisinos, do MBA em Gestão Empresarial - POA e do Pós MBA em Liderança. Professora visitante no Master on Work, Organizational and Personnel Psychology (WOP-P Erasmus Mundus, 2013).Tem experiência nas áreas de Psicologia do Trabalho e Recursos Humanos, atuando em consultoria nas áreas: desenvolvimento de liderança e de equipes, comportamento organizacional e gestão de pessoas. Algumas empresas em que desenvolveu atividades como consultora: Freios Controil, DMAE, SEMAE, Renner-Sayerlack, HMD, C&A, Procergs, Banrisul, Pirelli, Rede Notre Dame de Educação, dentre outras.
