Leadership in religious educational institutions: a study in the Marista Province of Rio Grande do Sul

Educational institutions of Marista Province/RS improve their results of sustainability and competitiveness mainly innovating in its management model. However, the amount of religious with a vocation for management is smaller than the growth rate and the professionalization of its network, so the company increasingly requires lay executives. Thus, the article aims to identify leadership skills needed in the institution’s executives to handle the challenges ahead.
