Students and tutors' profile in distance higher course in technology management process

This article analyzes the students and tutors' profile of a higher course of technology in the distance educational learning mode and draws a predominant profile of those involved in a higher education institution of the south of Brazil. The text involves the participation of students and tutors involved in the sport and have interaction with the course of Technology in Business Processes. Research has nature and uses qualitative and quantitative tools in exploratory level with case study of character. Chosen collection instruments were documents, direct observation, questionnaire with multiple choice questions and, use of bibliography area. The method of research has qualitative design and data analyzed were carried out addressed: interpretative analysis and numerical analysis of data. The results presented by respondents are for the diagnosis of the predominant profile of both involved with the sport: students and tutors. At the end of the survey are outlined the main features of those involved with gender, age, education and marital status, and thus can stimulate and expand the funding and guidance or market strategies.
