Abstract

The main objective of this article is to analyze a series of animated short movies produced by Maurício de Sousa with AMA – Associação de Amigos do Autista – which focus on child autism. In order to do so, a brief retrospective of the creation of Monica’s Gang has been made, aiming to identify which aspects of the comics were maintained or adapted in these audiovisual productions.
