The Bolsonaro government and the yawning of a universal subject: speeches, heritage and identities

This paper analyzes the speeches of the then Minister of Education, Abraham Weintraub, and the Minister of Women, Family and Human Rights, Damares Alves, during the ministerial meeting on April 22, 2020. Realizing how the speech of these agents represent how the Bolsonaro government works in favor of a universalist model of Brazilians at the expense of cultural diversity. This analysis is illustrated with the preservation of the city of Diamantina / MG and with the few Afro-Brazilian cultural items that became heritage until the beginning of the 21st century.
