Abstract

Esta resenha tem como objeto o livro Estrangeiros residentes: Uma filosofia da migração de Donatella Di Cesare.  A autora é filósofa e professora na Universidade de Roma La Sapienza. A obra é atual e recém-lançada no Brasil, com versão em português publicada em 16 de novembro de 2020 pela editora Âyiné. Neste livro, a autora convida-nos a (re)pensar conceitos utilizados nos estudos das migrações internacionais como Estado, fronteira, soberania, estrangeiro e as mudanças que permeiam o debate do tema, delineando uma filosofia da migração.

Advogada. Mestranda em Direito no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Direito da Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul (PPGD/UFMS). Especialista em Direito Civil Pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais (PUC-Minas). Bacharel em Direito pela Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul.

Celeida Maria Costa de Souza e Silva, Universidade Católica Dom Bosco - Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação - Mestrado e Doutorado.

Graduada em História e Mestre em Educação pela Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS); Doutora em Educação pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP) e Pós-doutorado em Educação pela Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso (UFMT). É professora pesquisadora da Universidade Católica Dom Bosco (UCDB), atua nos Cursos de Graduação e no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação - Mestrado e Doutorado (PPGE/UCDB).
