Animal’s personification: a necessary discussion about legal categories

Abstract

The article was structured as a gateway to the controversial issue under examination which reflects on whether legal anthropocentrism is under reconsideration. Raised in the dialectical method, it concludes that it is not possible to assign rights to non-human animals what does not mean no guarantee of satisfactory protection under the Law.
