Abstract

The present work aims to carry out a review of literature that involves the topics: antisocial tendency, family and childhood. To do this, searches were conducted in the databases of the Virtual Health Library, Capes Portal and ERIC. The keywords used were: antisocial tendency and family, being searches in Portuguese, English and Spanish. They were selected for reading in their entirety and 14 analysis articles, being five in Portuguese, six in English and three in Spanish. Generally speaking, the articles seek to investigate the origin of the antisocial tendency; to check how the relationship of the child with his/her family is; to analyze gender differences in relation to the disorder and to discuss intervention strategies. The analysis of the works points to the importance of a greater family participation in the child's development, so that his/her needs are met. In this sense, interventions must be carried out with the whole family. The need of constant research on the subject is pointed out, in order to better understand their origins and forms of intervention.
