Pain, anxiety and bullying: Physical education as promotion and prevention in adolescent health

To study children and adolescents is challenging, thought-provoking to professionals in the field of health and education. Social aspects, behavioral, cognitive, motor, physical, and physiological, are in full development at this stage of life and a series of transformations changes them quickly. This study is an account of experience on a physical exercise program for teenagers, developed in conjunction with talks and roundtables, covering these topics: pain, anxiety and bullying. In the activity, 15 female adolescents were included, aged between 12 and 17 years, from a school in the municipality of Capão da Canoa – RS. The physical exercise program, as well as lectures and roundtables were developed by a physical educator. The activities had four weeks of duration, with two meetings per week. At the end of the circuit of activities, classes followed with approaches of the themes of study. Some teenagers have expressed the desire to incorporate the practice of physical exercises to their routine and stressed the importance of the activities developed. In this way, the study contributes to the school and scientific community, collaborating on the study lines of behavioral aspects, motors, cognitive, physical and physiological of the child and the adolescent.Downloads
