Qualidade de vida de crianças e adolescentes praticantes de esportes: uma revisão sistemática

Mensurar a qualidade de vida(QV) de crianças e adolescentes é de suma importância para o desenvolvimento de ações que busquem contemplar o bem-estar físico, mental e social dos indivíduos. Neste artigo, será investigada, portanto, a qualidade de vida relacionada à saúde(QVRS) e à prática de esportes ou atividades físicas por meio de uma revisão sistemática de três bases de dados: Scopus, MEDLINE/PubMed e Embase. A metodologia de revisão foi registrada sob protocolo PROSPERO: CRD42021252855. Foram incluídos estudos que tivessem avaliado a QVRS de crianças e adolescentes entre 8 e 18 anos, com ou sem doenças crônicas, praticantes de qualquer modalidade de esportes ou praticantes de atividades físicas. Os resultados indicam que os estudos sistematizados foram realizados nos países de Irã, Estados Unidos, Chile, Austrália, Reino Unido, Brasil, Holanda, Noruega, Espanha e Dinamarca. Dessa maneira, a amostra total disponível foi de 14.511 crianças e adolescentes. Em todos os artigos, foi possível notar que a prática de atividade física ou de esportes está relacionada a uma melhora nos indicadores da QV. Mesmo quando aplicada de maneira adaptada, a atividade física por si só tende a auxiliar no desenvolvimento saudável desses sujeitos, principalmente em questões ligadas ao sedentarismo, obesidade e estilo de vida.References
