This research has focused on gender relations during the 'afternoon recreation' of an elementary school in the state education network, in the municipality of San Francisco de Paula (RS), during the first half of 2015. The study was conducted on the look the exploratory and descriptive research. Initially, the observations were made with all students attending the afternoon break, and, after identifying peer groups who gave most of the gender conflicts, the research focus was on students attending mostly the 4 and 5 years of elementary school. Tools and techniques adopted were: observation sheets, images of records, conversations / interviews with students, director and teacher. We can point out that there is a conflict sociability ratio and at the same time. The school playground is a transformer and gullible space in social relations.
