Abstract

The article deals with the stress issues and life quality at the workplace. The article aimed to identify the causing stress factors and its consequences on the employees' life quality of the administration department at a private school, on the perspective of the Theory proposed by Walton and the Stress Concept proposed by Lipp. This case study is presented as of qualitative and quantitative character whose instruments of data collection are a semi-structured interview and the Inventory of Stress Symptoms Lipp - ISSL, the interpretation of the results of the inventory was done according to the instrument correction manual by LIPP. Through this study we can conclude that there are stressors in the work routine experienced by the employees,
suggesting an organizational culture that deserves attention.
