Abstract

This article analyzes the use of Smartphone as a pedagogical resource in the discipline of Sociology in Youth and Adult Education (EJA). It was discussed the use of this mediatic resource and its applied use in the education of young and adult people, specifically in the discipline of Sociology. The potential of the insertion of the new technologies in the Sociology class was demonstrated, and how they can collaborate with teaching and learning. The methodological procedures of this research were based on a case study, investigating a contemporary phenomenon, approaching as teaching methodologies the technological media. The results show that the EJA is an education with its own characteristics, and that the use of Smartphone as a pedagogical resource in the discipline of Sociology allows for improvements in teaching and learning of students.

Possui graduação em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Estadual de Londrina - UEL (2000), mestrado em Educação para a Ciência e o Ensino de Matemática pela Universidade Estadual de Maringá - UEM (2006) e doutorado em Educação pela Universidade de São Paulo - USP (2012). Atualmente é professor adjunto da Universidade Estadual do Norte do Paraná - UENP, campus Luiz Meneghel, Bandeirantes-PR. Tem experiência na área de Metodologia e Prática de Ensino de Biologia, estágio supervisionado no ensino médio, onde ministra aulas desde 2003, para o curso de Ciências Biológicas na referida Universidade. Desde 2015 atua no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ensino da UENP (PPGEN), como professora da disciplina de Tendências Metodológicas de Ensino e como orientadora em nível de mestrado. Atua ainda na área de pesquisa em Educação para a Sexualidade e Educação Ambiental.
